How to Make Your Own Organic Conditioning Shampoo
Would you like to learn how to make your own organic conditioning shampoo that is 100% natural? Cleansing, balancing and purifying, this recipe should give your hair a beautiful shine, whilst removing build up from conventional hair products. It’s simple, cheap and effective.
The recipe here is a very good one, however the closing segment of this video is not worth watching, so just turn off after the recipe is complete.
Ingredients include: baking soda, apple cider vinegar, organic coconut oil and water.
Step 1: Take 2 teaspoons of baking soda and put into clean container. A spray water bottle is perfect because you can then spray it directly on your hair.
Step 2: Take 3x as much apple cider vinegar (so 6 teaspoons of vinegar if you’ve used 2 of baking soda) and add to container.
Step 3: Add half a teaspoon of coconut oil to the vinegar and soda mixture. Make sure the oil is in liquid form before you add it to the mixture. Simply heat it to get liquid form.
Step 4: Add water to mixture and shake. It’s now ready to use.
The presenter here advises using conditioner with this shampoo (a useful tip if you have curly hair!) She uses this natural shampoo once or twice a week, and between times simply uses conditioner on her hair. I would strongly agree with the point she makes that conventional shampoos with all their synthetic additives tend to ‘kill the curls.’
