This clip is essential viewing for all Americans who care about the food they eat and the future of the environment. Even if you don’t live in California, you may know someone who does. 95% of Americans want to know if and when food has been geneticially modified. Currently in the US, there is no legal requirement to label food that either contains GM ingredients or is itself genetically modified like soya, corn or sugar beet. Given that nobody knows the effects of GM on human health it is equivalent to playing Russian Roulette.

Now, you have a chance to change this situation. The California Ballot Initiative on GM food gives voters the chance to say ‘all GM foods must be labelled’. If this is agreed in California, then the whole of the US will have to follow suit. Ultimately it will become illegal to NOT label foods that have been genetically modified. The consumer will then be able to reject GM foods, which means the producers of ‘Frankenstein’ foods will move away from this horrendous form of food production.

Protect your natural food sources. Protect your health. Say no to GM foods by voting in the California Ballot Initiative if you can. Tell friends about it, the more people that know and talk about it, the more people will vote. Help make the world a better place for our children and future generations. GM foods should never have a place in our world, they are both destructive and very dangerous. Take action now.
